My Story
My name is Addam Rouse and I grew up in Iowa, where I first discovered how deeply I valued helping others. That passion led me into education, and after earning my bachelor’s degree in elementary education, I had the privilege of teaching math and science to bright, energetic, and endlessly curious 5th and 6th graders. Those early years in the classroom shaped the way I approach every challenge: with patience, empathy, and a commitment to making someone’s day a little easier.
After two years of teaching in Iowa, my wife and I made a life‑changing decision to move across the world and teach in South Korea. Living overseas opened our eyes to new cultures, new perspectives, and unforgettable experiences. We explored Thailand’s islands, wandered through Bali, visited Singapore, swam with whale sharks in the Philippines, and even fulfilled a childhood dream by visiting the Australia Zoo. Those travels strengthened our sense of adventure and reminded us how much there is to learn from the world and the people in it.
While abroad, I felt a growing pull toward a new way of helping others — one rooted in technology. I earned my master’s degree in IT so I could combine my background in education with a career focused on supporting people through the tools they rely on every day. Today, I work in the healthcare setting, where for the past two years I’ve provided hardware and software support, answered help desk calls, and built and configured most of the computers. I take pride in offering patient, reliable, and solutions‑focused support, and I strive each day to make technology feel less intimidating and more empowering for the people who depend on it.
Rouse Technology Support grew out of that same mission. I created my business to continue offering dependable, personalized tech support beyond my work at Upland Hills — because everyone deserves someone they can trust when technology gets in the way of what they’re trying to accomplish. Helping people has always been my purpose — now I just do it with a different toolkit.
